About Surah Az-Zukhruf

Surah Az-Zukhruf (Arabic: الزُّخرُف) is the 43rd surah of the Holy Quran. It is a Meccan surah consisting of 89 verses (ayahs). The name Az-Zukhruf comes from its Arabic title meaning "The Ornaments of Gold."

Like all surahs of the Quran, Surah Az-Zukhruf was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as part of the divine revelation. The Holy Quran contains 114 surahs and 6,236 verses in total, revealed over approximately 23 years.
